Find Out How Easy Natural Beauty Can Be

Are you looking for some natural beauty products? It can be difficult, it can be frustrating and it can seem like more of a pain that its worth, but trust me, with a few of these tips you will be well on your way to making more informed decisions and a more natural way of life, at least your beauty life.

First thing is first, no parabens.... none of any kind, no derivative or anything that looks like it might have the word paraben in it. Many times parabens are disguised as butylparaben, propylparaben, ethylparaben, and more rare are the benzylparaben and isobutylparaben. All of these have the word paraben in them, and we want to avoid as many parabens as we can, so just put it back. That is the easiest thing to do and the quickest way to recognize them.

Next thing is just as easy. Do the same for "PEG", if it says PEG anything, just put it back. Another name that might be a little harder to remember but refers to the same thing is "Polyethelene glycol". These are harmful to the body, and skin. Try not to use them, they are in a lot of soaps, washes, and shampoos.

The last thing that I am going to tell you is very similar to PEG. Its called Propylene Glycol, or PG for short. This ingredients is also and active component in car antifreeze. Even worse, the beauty grade of this component is not chemically different in any way.

If you need to see a longer list you can check this natural beauty blog for some other bad ingredients to stay away from. But by just using this as a guide, you will be more informed than most of the people you know.
